I didn't receive a call but received the following text message:
"The cheapest possible auto insurance is available to anyone who goes to www.automotivequote.net where insurers compete fro you. Text "stop" to unsubscribe".

I didn't text stop. Just going to ignore it.

Received a text at 7:03 AM Eastern Daylight Savings Time, from this number, today 9/3/2011, with the same message as Nick above.

I texted "Stop or I will file a formal complaint with the fcc."

And believe me, I'll file!

I also got the same message. I did not text stop because that might confirm that I have a valid number.
