I, too, received a robo message stating that I must "appear before a magistrate, judge or a grand jury for a federal offense and to call a federal agent at 347-441-2388. Yes, this is a SCAM. This is the third time they've called.
Just got a call from 347 441 2388. Beginning of message was cut off but the part I heard claimed that I had to appear before a judge for some type of criminal act. I got the impression it had something to do with the IRS. They said it was the last chance I had to make it right before they took more serious action of some sort. They told me to call them back. I tried . That number doesn't work.
Bullshi*t scammers--same crap as experienced by other callers. In this day and age I can't believe people fall for this kind of nonsense. Tagged for "auto-reject" on my phone . . .
