The caller said they were with the IRS and that there was an arrest warrant out for my arrest. I've heard of this scam before in which they try to threaten you to get money out of you. Don't fall for it and call their bluff and have fun with them at their expense. Their just criminals trying to pull a fast one.
Got a call today stating they had a lawsuit pending against me with the irs and that they would file it with the courts id i didnt resppnd. Told them to [***] themselves
Yes, also just got a threatening voicemail message claiming they have a warrant from the IRS. She said her name was Anna Bennett, urgent to call her! (Slight Indian British accent). Called at 1:00 pm CST. I'd call her back to waste her time but it's not worth it. They'd just mark me down as a live human and phish/spam even more.
