The phone rang and this alleged number appeared on the caller ID screen. This appears to be a first for this one. I guess these people who are so desperate to be my friend simply called to wish me a Happy St Patrick's Day. But I guess I will never know since I decided not to answer. I sure hope I didn't leave them in tears.
All kidding aside, I have decided to find the humor in simply ignoring the calls that come from unfamiliar sources. I am not sure what this one was all about, but I will check back here to see what others are saying to be sure it is a direct violation of the DNCR.
My simple reason for this is based on the fact that primary day is about a month away and this could be some alleged political call begging me to vote for a specific candidate. The only problem is that I am no longer eligible to vote in the primaries since I became a registered independent. Nonetheless I am extremely skeptical of political calls. Especially considering the fact that I have received political calls displaying numbers with invalid area codes and prefixes.
got a call from 347-455-3725 left a message that my personal medical alert system is ready to ship out. Press 1 now, or press 9 to opt out. Scam since I am way too young to need a personal medical alert system.
