WOW! This is the worst scam ever! I called the number back and told them that I knew it was a scam, and they asked me why I called them back if I knew. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR AUTHORIZE ANY PAYMENTS!!! I had some fun with them and you should to. I've contacted law enforcement agencies and reported the scam but I don't think it will do any good. After I confronted them and had my fun they stopped calling. So I say call them on there crap! It worked for me.

I have recieved several phone calls from this number from a "Kevin Smith" with a Middle Eastern or Indian accent, threatening me with harm or "bad things" if I don"t contact them immediately. He is claiming to be with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. When I contacted my state's local FBI offfice, I was not only informed that this scam has been going on for YEARS, but that the Bureau of Criminal Investigation doesn't actually exist. ( I already had that part figured out). They suspect the calls are being routed through this phone number from outside the country and are working to try and catch someone in our country to hold accountable. DO NOT give these people information, tell family and friends the same thing, contact your local and state law enforcement, and have the number blocked. That is really all you can do.
I just recieved a call from "Tom Brown" with a very stong accent talking about a law suit, he said i was being sued to a co- worker who answered the phone, and even gave a lawsuit number... he called from 347-467-0431 on 2-24-2011 @ 10:10.... iIf this is not the only scam first off if you are being sued you will recieve A CERTIFIED LETTER BY MAIL TO YOUR HOME YOU WILL NOT BE TOLD VERBALLY OVER THE PHONE...
My sister received a call from this number and a man named Tom Brown, would not give her any info, but said I was being investigated for fraud. I then called this person. When they asked for my name I gave them just my name and the extetion that was given my sister to call. There was no transfer, but this Tom Brown answered and it was the same person who had answered the phone. When I insisted that I did not receive any monies from Cash Net Advance he told me that monies were deposited in June of 2010. I listened to him and then asked for the name of the lender service, a telephone number for me to call, the amount and the exact date of the deposit. He could not give me this information. I then told him I wanted this information in writing, he then proceeded to tell me that his job was just to call people. I then told him to contact the attorney in charge of this case, that this client whoever it was had to have an attorney, and have that person send me the information and that a paralegal was not who I wanted to speal to. He then said that he either had to put a green flag or a red flag, I told him that this was definitely a red flag, not only for him, but for me. I then ended the conversation.
