suspicious caller foreign accent telling that social security number is on hold for lawsuits through false companies wanting money to make law suits go away.
I had this same phone call. I entered some information about getting a loan on the internet then all you know what broke out. Calls from everywhere saying I am pre-approved to receive loans with 100+% interest. I said forget it and did not reply to any of the phone calls or emails. Then I received a phone call from 347-468-9606 from "Alex Parker" from Pierce Law Offices. He had a very thick Indian accent, and I highly doubted that his name was "Alex Parker". I started asking him questions that he couldn't answer, and insisted that I speak to someone else. He refused to get anyone else, and then hung up on me. People who are part of the Law field are to talk with people, and how to diffuse a difficult situation, not hang up on someone who wants answers. I knew that this was a fluke. The only thing that concerns me is that they have my personal information. Just as a precaution I closed my bank account and opened another one. If they had my information, I was not going to give them the chance to have access to my account.
I also received a call from this person. My bank account has been closed but some payday loan company was taking money from my account and I never received a loan from them. My bank was looking into the matter and they have numerous cased like this. I think this 'Alex Parker' is representing the company that is being investigated. I refuse to talk to him.
I received the phone call from the same company and refused to pay the money and what i see next moring there was a shariff at my home place with papers work from the court side....but at that point of time i call the comany back "Pierce Law Office" and alex parker helped me with settling this case out of court...
