347-474-3215 called automated stating that there was a problem. To call immediately. When you call back a man claiming to be David from the United States Government answers, he wants to get your social security number and other information. So they can help you get the issue of owing money straightened out. He sounds like he is from India. When told no, he called me a [***]. Why is our name and number given to these people?
Received two VMs 3 hours apart. It is automated stating the State's Attorney office regarding the legal staus of my account. It doesn't say what account or why the call is coming from NY when I don't live in the state.
I called the number and they answer Dept of Legal Affairs, It is clearly a call center you can hear the phones in the background. I told the man who answered that he is a liar and that I work for Legal Affairs and he hung-up. I always say I work for the government institution that these scammers are using to gain info and they always get scared and hang up.

It's bogus. Some [***] callcenter somewhere is making these threatening calls to get people to give them info. Don't ever return calls from people claiming to represent official agencies. If someone like the IRS wants to get in touch, they would send letters and maybe eventually send people over :). But they wouldn't be making crap calls threatening and then wishing you a "blessed day".
I received a call from this number today asking for my daughter. I said I could take a message, and they gave me the above number. The caller claimed to be from the United States something or other, but foreign accent prohibited me from hearing complete mexxage. I suspected it was a scam and therefore did not call back, and I am now reporting it.
