They say they are GE capital and ask me if I am ready for my personal loan- they have my maiden name which I havent been for 4 yrs and tell me I applied for a 10,000 loan 6 months ago and I DID NOT and they wont stop calling

Don't give them any information. Don't answer their calls in the future. Check your credit report. These are thieves and scam artists. Block the number.
I did not answer but this number called my house phone at 3 am and did not leave a message. I was pretty mad. If it is a scammer, why would they call in the middle of the night?
