esco scam - if they were on the up and up, why call using a forged caller ID?

todays spoofed caller id is HELP CENTER

Jerks keep calling.. no one is at the other end.. when you call back, a recording says press 1 to be removed from our calling list......  Yea Right....

Mel, fyi, they've changed it from "Reduction" to "Help Center."  Same s***.  I don't pick up the phone.

The whole robo-call set-up, including telling you to push a number to get off their calling list is pure "Rachel". See the Latest News and Forums here at 800notes for stories about the FTC on the attack against Rachel and her merry crew.

If you see a name and/or number you don't recognize, don't pick up the call. If you pick up such a call, and someone tells you to push a number, hang up immediately. If you push that button, you will be put on the "chump list"; telemarketers may show increased interest in you.

Calls received at least once daily  ( sometimes more).   Very difficult for a senior recovering from surgery to get rest..
