Inform me about a legal case filed against my name and social and physical address. Received a call claiming if they do not receive a call back from me they will have to submit my files to the court house. Claims to be from the federal investigation department.
Total scam, beware! Ny phone# left vm. Claims to be from irs, and if i dont call them back i will get sued! How stupid are they? Irs dont call you via phone and leave threatening messages,. If irs really needs you, they send you a letter, if you dont respond then they drag you into court, and or garnish wages,...But that takes years.
An unprofessional-sounding woman with a heavy accent, maybe African, who said her name was Sarah Wilson from the "federal investigation department" (does she mean the Federal Bureau of Investigation?), left a threatening message saying a case had been filed against me and there was a warrant out for my arrest and I need to call back ASAP or they will come and arrest me. If this is a scam it should be a felony to harass and scare innocent people. What a monster to hurt and trick people in such a way. I hope someone does something like this to her and she can see what it feels like to be accused and lied to. I wish our legal system would do something about identity thieves and scammers.
Indian origin SCAM stating that legal actions against me from the "federal investigative department" is about to be filled. Once they get your number, they keep calling and leaving annoying voicemails. I hope the real federal office goes after them!!
This is my 2nd call, both times from a heavy accent woman. Sounds from India..
First told me they were from the IRS investigative department, my name and physical address under investigation, and if I don't call case would be sent to prosecuting office, police would come out and arrest me.
Now different number same area code different number, now I'm being investigated have my social and physical address under investigation, her name was "Katherine West" again sounded accent from India, I barely could make out the number..
Last week I picked up my phone and told her. I got u r number, and by the way learn to speak English, and earn a decent living not scamming people, she went on and on...I hung up on her...
Can't anything be done to stop these people, have them investigated, arrested, for harrasing innocent people like all of us...
Please let me know if u have any new info about these people and where we can report them to.
