I did twice today. When I called back the person on the other line barely spoke English. When I questioned who he was and that I did not believe that the state attorney's office would be calling me, he started cursing really loud and hung up. Obviously a scam.

2 calls today with a recorded message that transcribed perfectly. (I did not answer the phone or call back)
From other postings, this appears to be a scam, and I would suspect as much since I have no reason to believe this is a valid attempt to contact me for any reason.
Received call from this number and message left. Stated that they were from U.S. attorneys office and we needed to call back immediately to resolve a legal matter with an account. Called back the number left. Foreigner answered with horrible accent. They would give no info. I told them they had wrong # and please do not call again. The man started cussing and stated 'We will continue to call Mother F****r. I said 'Excuse me' and they hung up. They called back 6 hours later.
At 5:55am received a call and an electronic message was left referencing the US Attorney's office. I called back, a middle eastern sounding man would only speak to my son, who he called by name. My son called from a different phone and was told there was a federal warrant out for his arrest due to tax evasion in 2012. He was asked how he filed his taxes and whether he used the auto check button. The caller stated he had come to our residence 3 times, my son asked him when. He stated M-W-F at 11am. My son said "I supposed you want my SSN, DOB, bank account number, etc". The caller whispered to someone else and then hung up.
