I called them right back and he answered as if it were a normal incoming call. I told him I'd looked his number up at 800notes.com, and that I had already notified the police. Then rudely hung up on him!
Just got 3 calls from these Indian men, they called my mothers house making all these harassing and threatening claims. This is a scam! He wanted me to stay on the phone until I wire him $1000. Said if I didn't he was going to download my information to the attorney generals office. Said I would be arrested, lose my job, and have to pay fines. Scam artist. Beware.

These [***] even tried to tell me that for them to tell me their name I had to pay $200!!! HAHAHAH. And that if I wanted to see proof of their law credentials that I would have to pay $1000 for email delivery and $2000 for mail delivery. Do they actually think anyone would buy this [***]. I told them that I would report them and he said "go ahead I don't give a [***], do you actually think it will do anything, people report me all the time and it doesn't do [***]! You can't do anything to me" And I said maybe if you treated people like human beings they would actually want to make payment arrangements with you (at this point still thinking they were a legit debt collection company since I do owe money to cash advance places) and he said no I don't have to and I said oh yeah I forgot all you Arab [***] just want to kill everyone and hung up the phone. I'm over this [***] I need to find a way to block these calls. I think I'm going to just change my [***] number! These people can [***] themselves.
so did the [***] here.....only thing my coworker that sits right next to me seems to always get him when he calls....im bout tired of this too....is there nothing that can be done to the [***]....with having to change our number....sickening..n btw...he saying his name was Bruce Johnson lol...phaahaaaa
