i got a call from this number today saying that his name is officer jack willson and that i needed to call back to clear up some leagal matters. he said i had to pay 612 dollars to day or go to court. i have never got a pay day loan. this man has all my information! what should i do??

I just got a call at my work number from 347-560-5022. The guy who left a message for me had a heavy Indian accent and said his name was Jason Wright from the legal dept of some company named ACS. He claims a complaint was filed against my name and soc sec number. This is an Indian scam. Do not speak to these people. I already got scammed by folks like these a few months ago and they fraudulently stole $750.00 out of my checking account using my debit card. I filed a police report and a claim with my bank and was reimbursed the funds. The way these guys work is, they steal your personal information when you go on the internet. Doesn't matter if you are making a purchase. In my case, I took out a pay day loan and had to supply my soc sec number and banking info thinking the website was secure and it wasn't. These scam artists put a virus on my computer so my keystrokes were mimicked and that's how they stole my personal info. If they were a legitimate debt collector they would be able to send a ltter to you in the mail, not use verbal scare tactics like they did with me. Do not be afraid of these scam artists and above all do not give out any personal info, even if they have your soc sec number. Also subscribe to life lock which monitors your credit.
I just got a call from 0000000 but the guy that left a message had a very heavy Indian accent. He said his name was Eric something. I didnt answer so he left a message. Kind of scared since he had the last 4 of my social. I'm betting he has a lot more than that. But from the sounds of these other posts I dont think I will be calling back.
get the one person who does not understand english... We are a business with over 500 people coming in and out all day long. We do not take personal messages, we tell people to call an alternate number due to we are not able to locate people instantly.
Every hour a call... people who I have learn don't work here. I try to explain this and still we keep getting the calls. First the law enforcement, then a lawyer's office, then working for the government. We are just tired of the harrassing calls.
