The jokers keep calling. This is only one of the numbers, others have been 477-555-0113, 818-698-1514, 508-242-2010. They obviously have a good telecomm hacker. I reported ALL of them on https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and would suggest everyone else does as well. I wish the IRS would take out some Public Service Announcement time on the media nation wide and share the information the gentleman above did. The IRS will ONLY contact taxpayers using US Mail, and if it's IMPORTANT, it will come certified, trust me ;). They may provide a phone number for you to initiate contact with them, but the number will be in the mail you receive. If these idiots start using the US Mail for this, they are IMMEDIATLY in hock for committing Postal Fraud, and the feds will take that on in a hurry. If this harassment continues, the next unlucky number will get the referee's whistle treatment when I call them back, and i won't just call once.
Stated they were the irs coming to seize all of my assets and arrest me that I owe 3985.99 in back taxes. Said name was Paul white told him I would call back with my atty on the line said no need atty can not help you us Marshall will be at your door in 90 mins
They keep calling and so far today over 6 calls in a 2 hr time frame. I called back and told them it was a scam and they hung up on me. I called at least 5 times after that and each time they hung up and wouldn't even address themselves.
Also calling me from a similar # 347-560-5299 saying IRS so once again I called this one back and asked them why they won't stop calling and pretending to be IRS. They once again hung up and now if I call it goes to a busy signal. This has to be stopped and hoping anyone that gets calls like this will report them!
Called me saying he was officer David the IRS asking for Mr Fannan saying I would have my property assets, bank account and I will be unable to have anything for 5 years, I need a attorney and I will go to jail
Call blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated. Callers are located in India and Pakistan and spoof local numbers.
