You are correct - the IRS]MAILS letters if there is a problem.  This caller is a thief.

I got a call claiming that I have been filing my own taxes, which is not true. I go to a license employee to file my taxes. They said that I've been putting fake information and that I can go to jail up to 7 years and will be calling the cops on me to come pick me up. SCAM!
