I agree with you; this is a scam. They said the same thing to me a year ago. I complained to Dish Network but nothing has changed. It is from a different number now, that's all.
Scam: This guy has all the dishnetwork account information. Says his name Chris Adlert with dish operator code: C6Q. They say your dish equipment will be outdated pretty soon and need to update equipment and charge your credit card. They say that amount will be refunded after 6 months. There is company called The Statellite King (516-739-0202). All these guys work together.
