Received call on my cell. Did not recognize the number so I did not pick up. NO message was left, so I guess that it was NOT IMPORTANT!

You should NOT pick up on suspected scammer/telemarketer calls; either to "mess with them" or to "tell them to take your name off-their-list". The only thing that is accomplished is that you CONFIRM to the computer-dialing-program that YOUR NUMBER is valid and can now be SOLD to other telemarketers!
