I too have been plagued by these people for almost a year now. They use various company names and the last name they gave me was Affidavit Consolidation Service. I have had them pretend to be officers of the court and they always use American sounding names and sometimes names of celebrities. They make claims that I have outstanding payday loans and that I will be charged with five counts of fraud or that my case goes in front of a judge the next day if I do not settle the matter with them. I have asked many times for them to prove that I owe a debt or even give the name of the company that I supposedly owe. They never have provided me any of that information; instead, they usually get angry and start insulting me, my family and Americans in general. I have also had them hang up on my countless times when I confront them, then maybe two or three weeks later, the calls start again. Why am I not in jail yet?
I do however have a suggestion for anyone else with the same "friends" that call me. Let's work together and fight fire with fire and get their names and contact numbers and pass them on to as many telemarketers (or any website that asks for a phone #) as possible. Let's clog up their phone lines every time they change their numbers, maybe we could even get enough people together to call them non-stop on a selected date like maybe Saturday 1/08/10. I'm going to post this on other sites like this one. Please help spread the word!
Same information as above. Jason Coplan was the caller. They were calling about my neice. She did stupidly use a loan payday online and never receieved any money about 8 months ago. I think that company sold her info with list of references (me) and now their calling with more information. Lite foreign accent. When I asked what state he was in he put me on hold and come back and said NEW YORK. So they are probably calling from a foreign land with an office in New York or call forwarding somehow.

David Hughes called me. Same old spiel, different day! I'm so sick of these people. This has been going on over a year. I've filed 2 claims with the FTC. I've given them names and phone numbers from these men, all of whom are East Indian, and give american names. Phone Number for the FTC is 877-FTC-HELP...Please file a claim!
i GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AT MY EMPLOYMENT. THEY THREATENED ME , AND TOLD THE LADY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE THAT THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY CALL, AND IF SHE DID NOT GIVE THEM MY PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER, I WOULD BE IN BIG TROUBLE. I CALLED HIM THE NEXT DAY AND GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH HIM. HE WANTED MORE PERSONAL INFO ON ME AND KEPT PUTTING ME ON HOLD . WHEN I REFUSED HIS REQUESTS, HE WOULD GET ANGRY AND PUT ME ON HOLD. I CURSED HIM AND TOLD HIM NOT TO CALL BACK.
Yes. I got a phone call from these same people telling me they are from the ACS and that i am in trouble due to a payday loan. i have had loan before and i assur you that collection agencies have called me (American People in the U.S. from a 1-800 number). He said that he would fax the affidavit to me, which didnt make sense because usally you would get that through regular mail ( it think . He said that before he faxes the info. to me that he would need my credit card number and i refused because i have already been scammed once. I dont know who these people are but it is very stressful and it worries me. I am afraid of these people although i refuse to talk to them. What cn they do to me?
