I received the same text from this number this morning with the same type of deal. They wanted me to give them my name and address and they'd mail me a check, and then their movers would come and pick up the furniture. Also, they were going to add the $50 extra. I'm glad that I googled the phone number and found out about this! Thank you!
I posted something for sale on Craigslist. I received a reply, in broken English, with the title just as I posted it. Also, I put "cash only" in my post.
The next text stated they were sending me a check, as soon as I had cash in my hands, her movers would pick up the stuff. She wanted my name, to put on the check and my address to mail it to. Also she was giving me an extra $50 for her terms. I realized it was a scam and offered to pick up the check, cash it at her bank and I haven't heard another word. When I called the number, it said google will try to find that number and the name on her end was Happy. Good luck to others to not get scammed.
