Keep getting calls from this number, saying I owe money for a loan, etc. I tried to ask questions but the guy (who sounded like he was from India) was rude and eventually hung up on me. Wouldn't tell me a thing but did know my social security number. Scary! How do you stop these phone calls?

This guy called me at work several times I continually asked him to stop calling the guy I spoke to said his name was Dan Smith and he was calling to collect a debt. I told him to stop calling at my job. He ignored the request; also he would not give me any info on this debt. According to him he has my SSI number and then told me the last four numbers.

A man of Indian descent has left numerous messages on my work phone mail advising he is "Officer Dan Smith" with the American Law Division and I should immediately call him back "with your attornies". He does not indicate why he is calling nor pronounce my name correctly. He provided his phone number repeatedly and before ending the messages, told me to "Have a great day." I had no idea why he called me, but I know it is illegal to misrepresent oneself as a law enforcement officer, so I called him back and asked him why he is calling me. He NEVER told me anything more - Just kept repeating the same information in the messages (which is nothing) I then told him I am an attorney and he needs to state his business with me or stop calling. Guess what? HE HUNG UP and I have not heard from him again. So, my friends, maybe we should all just make this guy step up and explain himself. If you ask HIM too many questions, I think he might go away.
I keep getting these harrassing phone calls, they are Indian, cannot understand him, he has hung up on me, has made threats to arrest me, I asked for proof of money I owe. He has my ss @ and address, phone numbers. All of these men are very rude, I have told them I would report them.
