got a text message from them.

I just got a text from this number that tells me "Thank you for visiting our website, to claim your $50 Target gift card voucher, please call 866-514-6635".

I haven't visited any websites other than the usual ones that I look at every day, and I certainly haven't entered my phone number anywhere.

no idea how they got my number.

So what is being done about them?  Or are we just supposed to complain and move on?
