Automated voice claiming the Internal Revenue Service (or IRS) has issued an arrest warrant for me. I didn't listen to the voicemail any farther, I knew it was a scam. Besides, the IRS doesn't call - they do all their dealings by mail.
A call from New York which has an automated message from the supposed "IRS" claiming they have a case open on me and are issuing an arrest warrant. To stop that from happening, I am told to call the number back. THIS IS A SCAM! Do not fall for this!! The real IRS would contact you be mail.
Got this same call yesterday. Not sure how they got my number but it is crazy what ppl do now a days. Automated computer saying that the irs was suing me and had a warrant out for my arrest.
