This number keeps calling my cell phone. First I want to know how they got this number. The say my computer is spreading a virus every time I use it. Funny thing is, I haven't been on line in about a week.
These People Are Scammers
Called me several times to tell me that my computer had virus's and if they didn't fix the problem it would destroy my hard drive--- I didn't give them access--- I just now called the number and their answering machine identified them as Cyber Police
I got this same scam call just now... I asked him how I should verify that he works for Microsoft... and he said "We are a large company, so don't worry about that..." Do not give into these guys...
I tested him further and he wanted me to engage "Team View". again... it is a scam... do not fall for it
This party is very insistent that your computer is sending false error messages to them "as he is posing as a Microsoft employee." Scam, Scam, Scam...
they called again 11-16-12 this time I'm registered on the do not call list and I reported them I was registered before but it expires after 5 years so I registered again to register call 888-382-1222
