Received a call from this number at 6:20 AM my time, and I was sleeping. I was so pissed that I attempted to call back and when I blocked my caller ID their phone would not answer. When they left a voicemail they just left their phone number and the other part of the voicemail didn't record. When they answered the phone, after I unblocked my caller ID, they answered "hello this is the Internal Revenue Service". I called back and they said the same thing. I was leaving my phone silent to mess with them because I am so sick of these harassing spoof fraudulent calls which swindle old people who don't know better. The scum of the earth didn't give up, they call back again for hours later, with another recorded message telling me that it was my "final notice". The recorded voicemail was not even using proper English. I called back again, but the call would not go through, even when I unblocked the caller ID. Most likely they blocked my phone number. So I called from my landline, a woman answered "hello", so I told her that the authorities were aware of her whereabouts and she should vacate her premises now or she was going to be arrested LOL. Then I said something rude and hung up. I'm not normally a rude person but these people need to be jailed for a long time.
I have gotten this call 3 times as well, as the first was barely after 6am. FINALLY had enough and call back. IT IS AN IRS SCAM! They say there is a warrant for your arrest from tax evasion, and they can confirm some of your info. I only gave my name, but they came back with a range of tax years that we have owed.. I said NOTHING about it. So it ALMOST sounded right. THEN the arrest warrant was mentioned and I literally called [***] on him. I said I didn't believe him and would find another IRS # to call back. He even gave in his broken English accent a name and badge #. I didn't write down because I knew it was a hoax. Hope this is helpful.
I have blocked this number from texting or calling.
recorded message saying this is the IRS and we have filed a lawsuit against you. All I have to say is come and get everything I own cuz I dont own anything.
