A woman stated I needed to call her back, it was a time sensitive, and if I or my attorney did not return her call she could only wish me luck as things unfolded around me.
I am glad I read other comments and did not call back.
IRS scam call. Claiming there has been a criminal charge filed. They use caller ID when you call them back to know who you are, in an attempt to seem more "legit" (I know this because the IRS has my married name, and they were using my unmarried name, which is listed on the caller ID) Do not give them any info. Take their name and any info you can get from them, and call the IRS scam hotline to report them.
Same as above. Caller was a woman with a heavy Indian accent. They will have no choice but to file criiminal charges if I don't call them back....ohhhhhhh. so scared. Jerks.
Same as above. Caller was a woman with a very thick accent. Left message stating there was a criminal case filed against us (even left a "case number") and said we needed to contact her as soon as possible. Then she said "if you or your attorney don't contact me, I feel very sorry for you.")
I had to listen to the message several times to actually understand her due to her thick accent. This message was laughable because it was so unbelievable. Stupid scammers!
Same as the others above. A woman with a thick accent called and gave a case number, then said that I or my attorney need to call her back. If we don't, then she wishes us good luck. Pfft, this was so obviously a scam! These people disgust me.
