Received a phone call this morning from this number...telling me they were the investigations dept. of the IRS. If I did not call back to resolve the "issue" they would have me "picked up on charges" and that it was my "final notification". I ignored the call and have erased the message. I would advise others to do the same.
IRS MoneyGram scam. Woman with Indian accent called and left a message on my phone saying that she's from the "research department of IRS" and that the police has a warrant for me. When I called to figure out what it is, she and another man with Indian accent kept threatening me and making up stuff before mentioning MoneyGram. I called the police on them at that point and they hung up. Police says it's a scam and to ignore them (nothing else can be done). Don't give waste any time on these losers!
I got a call from this number telling me I have tax evasion case from the IRS, case number IRS27618. She informed me police will be picking me up by the hour. I told her ok but, since I have already made plans for the day, they have to wait till evening. She ask if I wanted to settle the case outside court, I told her no, "I want to see how IRS can prove this case". Officer Sean gets on the phone his fake British accent and my first question was, tell me my SSN first then we talk. The case took a quick turn from there lol

I received a phone call this morning. The person identified himself as Dimiter (sp??) James and seemed to have an Indian accent. He asked to speak with me and said he is calling from the Investigations Department of the IRS in regard to Tax errors and warrants (plural) issued for my arrest. I said that I have received a message from them before from a woman with an Indian accent and I have reported them and would ask them to stop their shenanigans business and leave people alone. I stated the IRS or any federal government would write me a letter if they had anything to communicate and that I do not have any Tax errors or arrest warrants. He asked: Are you finished, M’am? He continued: If you hand up on me you will be arrested according to these warrants. I repeated my position and hung up.
