The jerk that called me was "Jordan Willis". Little SOB. He wanted to know if I wanted to make more than $150k. I asked, "for what" that's when he told me he was a recruiter in NY for a company called Act- although I can't find out anything about it on the web.
When I told him no, he said he can't help me and hung up. I called him back left him a pissed off vmail - and then called again and got him. I asked if he was Mike Davis, or Jason White or Jordan Willis. He said these were all people who used the same line as him in their office.
Avoid these guys like the plague - they may have a recruting firm and get paid based on first year salary of their placements - but I can't imagine any professional working with them. Talk about being treated like a number.
Mike Davis, same source. No number on my caller ID, so they must have blocked it. I too got a female voice on the voicemail, but didn't leave a message.
I got the same call today....... didn't call it back because he left no identifying company information. Thought I'd google it first and that's how I found this site..... Thanks for the tip! I won't be calling him back.
Ok... so a month has passed since i typed in this phone number (347) 694-4719 to learn more about it and I was surprised to see that it was I who had entered the last note... interesting. Some very RUDE *sshole apparently from the great state of NY going by the name of "Jay White" called me from this number and tried to hook me on some paid executive research scam. He says he got my number from monster.com. Why hasn't monster.com canceled this guy's access yet? He was rude, he made an argument out of simply trying to tell me what he was trying to offer, he had horrible phone manners for someone trying to solicit services to ME, and lastly, he just made me angry even talking with him. I told him I wasn't interested and to never call me again before I hung up on him... then, this rude prick called me back one last time then hung up on me ! What's wrong with these people?
