Probably won't be able to call these a-holes back. I have free time on my hands today, so when "Kate Anderson" of the IRS called this morning to warn me about the "serious charges" against me, I decided to have a little fun with it - I harassed her back (but probably alot more viciously than they tried to do me). Here's the deal: The IRS will not call you like that without having sent a letter, first. So ask "Ms. Anderson," or any of her colleagues, for two things: their IRS Agent number (I'm pretty sure they have to disclose this on any and all phone calls) AND the date your letter was sent. If they can't do either of these things, think of the nastiest thing you've ever said to anyone in your life. Got it? Good - now multiply that nastiness by 10 and give "Ms. Anderson" a piece of your mind. Then spend the next 10 to 15 minutes calling her back incessantly so that she's totally scr#$d. Just hit redial as faaaaaast as you can. ;)
And as an update - this number has been taken out of service. Hit 'em back, America!!!!
