While in a meeting with my phone on silent, I missed 4 calls from this number between 11:36 AM and 11:42 AM (MST). The number shows as being based out of New York. A woman with an Indian accent left a voice-mail indicating that this was a warning that I am being investigated by the IRS and that I need to call them back before they take legal action against me. This is most certainly a scam and I opted not to respond. The IRS never calls. They only communicate by regular mail.
Guy with an Indian accent called claiming to be "Justin Hoffman" calling from the IRS to inform me that there was a warrant for my arrest. I hung up the phone line a champ!

Same thing happened to me. Guy called with a thick accent (indian/middle eastern), calling himself Justin Hoffman and claimed to be with the IRS ' investigative division. Call was to inform me that a warrant for my arrest has been issued. Call came from 347-696-1163. An investigation should definitely be initiated to arrest this idiot.
Man with a heavy Indian accent called 7 times from this same number continuously for 5 minutes- persisently. Only one voice mail was left claiming there is a arrest warrant for me from the alledged IRS. This type of calls are FRAUD! They are professional SCAMMERS. I have been a victim previously and will NOT allow this to happen again.
