They left me a voice message saying i have to call them back or i'll be sending to the court. But after i call the IRS, IRS told me they won't call or ask people for money or threaten to send people to jail. IRS assures me this is a scam, and please report this incident.
Received a call from this number. They left a voicemail message with the prefix of urgent. Advising that my name is in the IRS Arrest Warrant. Please be advised that this can only be a scam. The IRS would never call you from a cell phone number. This is an area code used by cell phones in NY State and/or North of Manhattan. I obviously blocked this number, but I want to warn people about this. They do not give the name just ask to call them back on that number.
They called themselves the IRS investigation department and said I have a warrant out for my arrest and that I have 72 hours to decide how to work with them or i'd go to jail. They said calling from IRS and you need to pay 5000 or go to jail for 4-7 years. It is scam.
