None, sweetie. They share lists with each other, a lot of it is randomly generated, and so on. They could have actually gotten it anywhere, as well. You will never know.
Second call of this nature in two days; yesterday's call was from 413-477-4016. This 413 number is from Springfield, MA; the home of a great deal of scummy 'poor people' and DRUG DEALERS/Scam Artists. This 357 # is from The Bronx. See the Connection? Different areas, states but SAME SCAM/Same Demographic. Likely the scammers know each other!
Do you get your minutes from CALLINGMART.COM or NET10? I believe they are SELLING their customers' phone numbers to the scammers. We get 1-4 of these calls within 3-4 weeks of adding new minutes, EVERY time. I have TOLD these two entities that I am reporting them, but it doesn't seem to scare them off.
347-704-6553 called my cell at around 10:00 a.m. today, which is a Saturday. Phone rang once, and they didn't leave a voicemail. I've read, on here, that this is a scam, so I'll be blocking the number. I encourage others to do the same.
