Clue #1: "The Department of Legal Affairs"? Are those the guys that make sure the twinkie's are properly filled? Because there is no 'Department' by that name in any business, or Government agency in North America. Nope. It's a foreign 3rd world extortion scam. No real debt, all fake.
I just got a call from this number as well, did not answer he left a message. He was clearly Indian. Said his name was Adam Walker from the Dept of Legal Affairs. He stated my name with my married name which I do not go by on anything, never changed it. States a legal action has been put upon me. Suggested I have an attorney call back. Could become a legal Mess. Also stated at the end to "have a blessed day", Not calling him back! Hope he doesn't keep calling :/

Same as what the others have said. Caller (Alex White) left a message, saying he was from the Dept of Legal Affairs, with a verbal announcement that legal proceedings would begin against my son if he didn't call this number. No way either I or my son is going to call back.
Just got the same message, except his name was Nathan Connors; Indian accent, dept of legal affairs. I need to call him back or face enforcement action and it could turn into a legal mess. He also ended with "have a blessed day." Glad I came online to check, it just seemed too ridiculous to be legit. I hope others check as well and don't fall for it. It can sound very intimidating to some.
