I WAS SELLING SOMETHING ON CRAIG'S LIST. HE SAID HE WAS IN THE MILITARY AND WOULD HAVE HIS SECRETARY SEND ME A CHECK. WHEN I GOT THE CHECK IT WAS MADE OUT FOR 2000 OVER THE ASKING PRICE. HE EMAILED AGAIN SAYING THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR THE MOVERS, PICKING UP THE PRODUCT. IF I COULD CASH THE CHECK AND WHEN IT CLEARED, SEND THE 2000 LESS $50 FOR MY TROUBLE TO THE MOVERS. SO I CONTACTED CITIBANK, AND MY BANK. THEY SAID THANK YOU, BUT IT DID NOT SEEM LIKE THEY WERE VERY INTERESTED. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS IS, IF I DEPOSITED AND IT CLEARED. I WOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE MONEY. WHATS UP WITH THAT. IF THE BANK MAKES A MISTAKE IT'S MY FAULT. SORRY RANTING ABOUT HOW BAD THIS IS. AND THAT NOTHING WILL COME OF IT. SO EVERYONE JUST POTECT THEMSELVES. THIS CHECK WAS ALSO FROM. FRIENDS OF YEMIN ORDE, INC 4501 CONNECTICUT AVE, NW SUITE 813. WASHINGTON, DC 20008. HEADS UP. HOPE THEY CATCH THEM SOMEDAY.

Thought everything was going well in the process by them asking for a resume.
Once I received a check for $2,901.00 from Friends of Yemin Orde, Inc, I immdiately felt stupid to have fallen for this scam.
Thanks for your message on this board to confirm that this is a scam that needs to be stopped.
I stopped contact with this scam artist and did not cash in my check.
I got a check for $2,850 to a house i own but rent out to someone else, that was the first red flag it came fedex from Verizon in OH but the check was from friends of yemin rode. inc in DC and all it has for the bank is citibank no address or phone and it just said instant payment. I dont know how they got my info or how they were planing on getting the money from me but Boo on them!! If i was desperate i would probably cash it and hope for the best so i feel really bad for others that are in need of cash that give in. this is wrong!!!
