Same thing happened to me they text me saying they wanted my car and they would send me the money ups well he text me for two weeks telling me it would be here it never came I told 6 callers who wanted my car that I sold it yeah well because of that jerk now I cant sell my car because no one has called I don't freaking believe I fell for that
I just got a text regarding the same thing - -said he was a Marine and on duty. He he wants the truck my son has for sale, he can have someone come with cash in hand. We posted on Craigslist too. I would never accept a certified check.
Yea...same thing with my car...I told him (said his name was Warren) there was no need to send me a check...just take a picture of the check with the routing and account numbers and I can deposit it right from my phone...oh..yea and send me a picture of your US Marine ID..you know, cause there are so many scams out there...I want to make sure the car gets to you...LOL...never heard from him again!
