They've called me before with the same lies about my computer.
I told them computer is fine but I will contact my own computer person to check it out. They were upset with this answer and hung up. Now I simply do
not answer any calls with unfamiliar numbers and hit the number sign #####
to disconnect them. PS I have an unlisted number which used to work but
not any more.
They also called me about 'repairing' my computer. I told him he was an idiot and asked if people really do fall for this [***] then I hung up on him. Believe it or not, he called right back so I took the phone and set it down until he was finally gone.
I used to have a service on my AT&T phone that wouldn't accept calls from 'unknown' or blocked numbers. I upgraded (boy is that the wrong term) to AT&T U-Verse and lost all my services, pay more money and have lower speed internet. So irritating.
