Scam for sure. Robo message was I was refer by a friend or relative. Not. I did press one and got colorful. So, I hope I made them feel like crap. Did my good deed today. They use to call from Maine. So, I guess they move the scam to NY.
Message left on answering machine "Referred by a family member ... Your free medical alert system is packed and waiting to be mailed to you, press 1 to confirm your address ..." No company name. SCAM SCAM SCAM
I list my name as "unavailable" because this is how all the scam callers appear on my Caller ID. I NEVER answer "unavailable" callers, ever. Partial message on machine about free medical alert. While no one recommended my name, why would I want one, free or not?? Although it doesn't appear to do any good, I am reporting the scammer to DO NOT CALL registry, FTC and Department of Consumer Affairs
Call was made to my home phone at 11:11 AM 6/27/2016 with caller ID showing same phone number in place of a name so I did not answer. A robo call message was left about free medical alert system alert system referred for me by family or friend. LIE! I am not even old enough for this Medicare fraud and no family or friend would recommend including me in this fraud.
