Online payday loan scam from a guy with a foreign accent (India); he says his name is (Steve Jones). He claims that he is an Account Manager for Advance of America located at 474 New York Ave, Huntington, NY 11743. Fax# 0865584302. Requested an upfront (Insurance Fee-PPI)deposit of $200 which he states is totally refundable once you receive the $5000.00 into your bank acct. You would have (24) monthly payments of $230.00 in order for the loan to paid in full.
Just received a call from STEVE JONES at Advanced America. It is 630 in the morning here!!! They have been leaving voicemails non stop - some from him some from an automated voice of "Rosemary"
FYI - for those that do not know, it is illegal to call that early for telemarketing, collections, etc
