Received a message on voicemail from a man with a very thick Indian accent and lots of noise in background telling me that his name was "Michael Andrews" calling from the department of "legal affairs" telling me that he strongly advises me to call him back or I will face a "legal mess" said if I did not want to call him back to have may attorney call on my behalf. I didn't call him back.
Received two female voice messages from this number advising to call immediately to clear up a legal matter. Called it and a male answered with an accent it appeared h was trying to disguise. Called himself officer so-and-so. Asked if I was Wayne and then said he had arrest warrants for me and my wife. Told him that I was the Chief of Police here (actually retired) and that he needs to come serve the warrants so I could stick them up his a**! After I said a few other choice comments to him he promptly hung up on me.
He insisted i must act now. I asked him if I was expecting his call (as in had I asked them to call me) and again what the legal issues were for. He says it is major legal issues. I reply in a shocked voice as follows: "Oh my gosh - that is why the officer was here this morning!!! Well, no worries sir - I sent that officer packing. Have a nice day." and I promptly hung up. :D
