a message was left that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and they urgently advised I call them back re this..they repeated it a couple of times..In about an hour I red another message from tel #260-242-6395 wither same message/with the 260 number, then a few hours later another call with the 347#"..scam! scam! The IRS never calls...written communication only...
Same message as Jen above. First message was the 260 number.Message said call urgently about the law suit against me. I blocked the number. A couple of hours later I got the same message from the 347 number. I blocked that number too.
Same.... First call was from a 206 area code.,then this call from NY. IRS does not inform via phone only written correspondence. These scammers need to burn in Hades!
Yep, they tried it. The guy first said International Revenue Service, but then cleaned it up. When I begin interrogating him over the phone he finally told me to go to hell because he was at home playing video games and we are all dumb Americans. lol
