Never give out your SSN or the last 4 digits, address or phone number to anyone claiming to be from a law office, Microsoft (trying to gain access to your computer) a collection agency (they are governed by your local State) or anyone calling your number that you do not know. Ask for their phone number and address and name of the business they are representing, they will most likely hang up. The problem with these type of calls is that they will continue to call and there is nothing that can be done until you register your phone with the do not call list. At that time they are then subject to fines. These are cell phones that are purchased through MetroPCS (parent company T-Mobile) that are calling and are burner phones so they can dump them and continue down the list of phone numbers that they have purchased to defraud the consumer. Report any suspicious activity to your local police department and start fighting back at these people
