Call with a very noisy background. They said that they were from IRS, miscalculations in my taxes. Refused to send an official letter or a reverse phone number. Want a check, and right now. When I asked for more information, she promised to arrest me and hung up.
Exactly the same phone calls I get several times a year, with no result.
Got the same call today. Wanted cash right away while she is still on the line w me. Said if i hang up or told anyone about it that I would get picked up by police. Even "police" called me on another line from 911.Sounded very legit! Be careful... IRS would never call you so just ignore the call!!
A very mean lady called me from this number about 8 times meanwhile I was at work. She stated she her name was Michelle Baker calling from IRS due "my investigation on illegal taxes". She was harassing me and telling me that I'll go to jail if I don't have a conversation with her... I hang up and blocked the number. Be careful...
