Trust in what I have to say about the FTC and their do not call list.. This agency has "bigger fish" to fry.. Do yourself a Favor with these annoyance calls--- Buy a Panasonic 250 call blocking cordless system.. It's the only thing that will block these calls from even "ringing" on your line.. I don't know what I would do without mine.. You can file complaints and resister with them till the Cows come home. It does NO GOOD.. These scammers find a way around all of this and until the government finds a way to stop this, all of us need to take matters into our own hands.. I have been filing complaints with the FTC for more years than I can count.. with hundreds and hundreds of scam callers.. Again, buy a caller ID Blocker. Good Luck to you
The only thing I've found to stop this.. is NOT the Governments Do not Call Registry or the FTC.. Buy a blocking device or the panasonic cordless that blocks 250 numbers. Eventually these scammers and robo's will stop... with that PHONE! Another point.. If you do not recognize a number DO NOT PICK IT UP.. Just my educated advice ... It will open up a whole other can of WORMS!
Time Warner Cable can block all unwanted calls for you, all you have to do is call them. Other systems will work too....consult your provider, do it through your "Menu". or refer to your phone paperwork... :)
