Called me on 10/28/09. Showed up on caller id as +347-851-4407. Reverse lookup
showed cell phone in Bronx, NY. Hang up when I answered. Plan to put it on my
blocked numbers list.
Call from this number was a guy claiming to be with United Services. When I asked what united services was he stated was a debt management company. I asked him not to call this number again and was told "shut up, [my name]"
I got a phone call from this number and the man knew my name, which is listed only with my first inital in phone book. He identified himself as being from North or Northern Star Financial. He told me I owed $8000 in credit card loans. I said, "Excuse me?" He then asked if I had any credit cards, and I said, "NO." He quickly hung up on me. I dialed the number back and it was a disconnected number. Received a call yesterday from this scammer (347) 851-4407. Some guy who claimed his name is John wanted to talk about my supposedly unsecured debt. Subject claimed he was from American Financial. I told the slime ball not to call back and hung up however i've already received three more phone calls ( unanswered ) from the thief today. All these calls are to my cell phone.
