This guy called and said the same thing on my voicemail. Said he was filing 3 criminal charges against me and I asked him the name of his company and he told me it was federal legislature which is a government agency.I asked what branch of government that was and he hung up. when I called back the number he gave me is was a fax machine.
i got a call this morning from this number stating that they had 3 charges on me from a loan that i never received. they said that they would get me fired from my job, report this to the local courthouse, have me arrested, extradite me to new york city where i will spend 60 days in jail if i don't go get 444.11 in a money order within in one hour of them calling. they also said i could not get off the phone with them the entire time and that i could not tell anyone else what was going on. claimed to be an attorney named joe brown. also said that they would freeze my bank accounts, ss#, and driver's license so i can't get a job. even read me an "affidavit."
I GOT THE SAME CALL TODAY THEY SAID I HAD 3 CRIMINAL CHARGES AN WAS BEING SUED BUT WOULDNT TELL ME WHO WAS SUING ME,SAID IF I DIDNT PAY 1232.00 TODAY I WOULD BE ARRESTED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH NO BOND AN HAVE TO SPEND 90 DAYS IN JAIL. HE (ADAM GARCIA) WANTED ME TO GO TO WALGREENS AN WIRE THE MONEY TO THEM AN SAID I HAD TO STAY ON THE PHONE WITH THEM THE ENTIRE TIME.HE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME! AFTER I HUNG UP I CALLED THE SHERIFFS DEPT AN THEY CHECKED THE # AND SAID IT WAS A SCAM,NOT TO TALK TO THEM ANYMORE,BUT IT REALLY WORRIES ME THAT THEY HAVE MY SOCIAL SECURITY #,WHO KNOWS WHAT THESE FOOLS MIGHT TRY TO DO. I ONLY WISH I COULD FILE CHARGES AGAINST THEM,BUT THESE CALLS ARE REALLY COMING FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY,AN BEING MADE TO LOOK LIKE THERE FROM NY - BUT SINCE THERE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY THERE IS NOTHING THE LAW ENFORCEMENT CAN DO. DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY PERSONAL INFO.
I BELIEVE THEY GOT MY SOCIAL# ,AN PHONE # FROM WHERE I FILLED OUT AN APPLICATION ONLINE A FEW DAYS AGO. PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!
these people keep calling me a man named terry keeps telling me I owe money for a loan I never ever received and threatening me with jail time I am a getting really tired of these harassing calls I never got a loan from any body let a lone owe anyone any money I want it to stop
