this number is from a fruadently company claiming to be tech support. beware as they will ask you confidential information. please report them to the fcc.
Please help me! I contacted a web site Technical support today because I was having a problem with my hotmail account. I called the tech support number 855-826-6766. I was told I had a trojan on my computer & I needed to buy applications to get rid of this. I scanned a check for $399.99. Then got a phone call from 347-868-6577 from a tech. Said it would take 24-48 hours to clear my hotmail account. Please help me. Call my house phone 660-745-3570. I can not get emails. Jan Brown
I tried to log into AOL and when I did I got a message that I had been hacked and email was frozen, to call an 800 number, which I did. Got suspicious and hung up. Immediately a call came from this number and it said Technical Support. He asked if I called and then said my account had been hacked by Russia. Of course he had a heavy accent. He asked me my email which I foolishly gave him and he called me by my first name which I did not give him. Then he said he had to take control of my computer to fix it. Representing himself as being from AOL. I told him no and he got very rude. I told him I didn't think AOL would be so rude and he got more rude. Said I was wasting his time. I could hear other operators in the back ground. Of course my account was fine on my tablet and phone. He had an explanation for that. I immediately changed my password.
Are you sure? Look, i am surprised seeing reviews of this number. Because i have this number on my contact as my friend's. We met, we talked and he said this was his new number and asked me to save it. I did save it and we chat on WhatsApp since this number is connected to his WhatsApp. I really dont get these reviews, is it the same person messing with you guys?
