is this number a scam

I also received a text from this number, a job offer which led to a yahoo messenger for a 'hiring manager" by the name of Derek Moore, offering 25.70 per hour for a work from home job for " ECKSON LABS"  which required I send an insurance fee of $125.00 via money gram/western union. Once I asked for employees names and contact info and references he refused to give it to me. Definitely a scam. Beware of this number and scam.

The fact that he asked for money to be sent via Moneygram or Western Union is a HUGE red flag that should have told you it is a scam.

Just now I have received a text from this number (347-878-5317), offering a job at a rate of $25.7/hour. They suggested me to add "[email protected]" (Derek Moore, hiring manager) to my yahoo messenger and sit for an interview. I asked them to provide me their official website address and said they will inform me later after interview. I think it is a scam.
