Apple is looking for iPhone5 Testers! The first 1000 users that goto http://iphone5tests.com and enter code 7777 will get to Test & Keep the New iPhone5!
This is fake, the website is bogus and they spoofed the number the texted from. Apple doesn't send text messages to recruit testers. If anything they would have contacted our apple id. And don't text the number back asking who it was or run the risk of getting a $50 or so charge on your phone bill.
I received a text from (347) 821-6323 saying: "Apple is looking for iPhone 5 testers! The first 1000 users that go to http://iphone5winner.com and enter code 7923 will get to test & keep a new iPhone 5". DON'T do it. It's a scam. If you text back to the number to ask who they are or where they got your phone number, etc. you could get stuck with massive charges on your phone bill. You'll also be confirming that your area code and phone number are valid and the scammers may sell that information to internet marketers. The same could occur if you go to the website. By logging in, you will be sending them your email address that can then be resold to marketers and advertisers and, worst of all, scammers and fraudsters who will bombard you with phony offers, data miner viruses, viruses that steal your contact list and other personal information. Delete the text immediately and don't respond.
