Steve Martin from the U.S. Treasury called to inform me there was an enforcement action against me regarding my pension. To not respond constitures a federal criminal offense which could lead to a grand jury or worse. A) I have no pension; B) Steve Martin - seriously? C) With that accent, I thought for a minute I had a computer virus. This is the first time any of these scammers actually left a voice mail.
I got the same message as Deborah (above). TOTAL SCAM! I also have no pension! DUH! Also, IF the "real" U.S. Treasury wants to contact anyone, they would most likely do so via "snail mail" on legitimate Treasury Dept. letterhead, with their Washington D.C. address and NOT via a Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, NY phone number.
Same as the others. A man with a foreign accent said the Treasury dept was looking for me and to ignore it would result in bla bla bla. Said his name was Kevin Mayson. He didn't know my name so I know it was a scam. If the treasury dept was looking for me, they'd know who it was they were looking for. DUH!
Impersonated an officer of the U.S. Dept of the Treasury, stating they were just about ready to take me to court. Person stated his name was "Kevin Morris" and spoke with an Indian accent. No names given about me or my family

An apparently Indian from India accented voice left a message identifying as "Steve Martin" from the Treasury office informing me of an "action against" me. Wish I had answered so I could have cussed him out. He might have learned a few new English words. Instead, I deleted his number and message.
It does little good to block the scammers. They use lots of numbers.
