This number always calls me and hangs up. I do not answer because I do not know who it is. I googled the number and it shows a NY number. Prob spam people
This number has called my cell phone one time each over the past two days which I did not answerer due to not recognizing the number so this evening I finally called the number back using my house phone by blocking my home number first and after getting a brief recording I was connected to a lady who claimed she was representing the Rewards Redemption Center then proceeded to tell me I was chosen to receive a $100 gift card and when I asked her how I was chosen to receive this gift card she said that I had recently shopped at either one of the online Companies or through a Catalog or in a Retail Store that they represent handling out gift cards for so then she asked me for my name which I did not give her after telling her I was uncomfortable giving out my information for something I wasn't sure about she then explained to me that they were a legitimate source and that once I gave her my information that she needed from me she would then have to transfer me to her Supervisor but after asking her several more questions before giving her any of my information like where would I be able to use this gift card at what Stores would I have to shop at to be able to use this gift card because I explained to her that I rarely do any shopping online and I never order thru catalogs and usually do very little shopping besides at Grocery Stores but after asking her these questions and explaining this to her some how we ended up getting disconnected...??? Just want to add that she couldn't even give me any information as to where or what Stores or Retail Businesses I would have to shop at in order to be able to use this $100 gift card at for making purchases with it! She said all that information would be included in with the $100 gift card package/envelope upon receiving it so after we got disconnected I didn't bother calling the number back! Sounded suspicious to me her not being able to answer any of my simple questions!
Someone from this number called my cell phone again this afternoon and again I did not answer the call! I don't know if they would've tried to left me a voice message or not because I had the voice mail feature on my cell plan deactivated didn't feel I needed it plus I found it to be annoying at times when certain ppl called my cell phone! lol
