i also posted an ad on craigslist and then received a text from this number saying they want my address to send somebody to pick up my item

Same thing, I posted on CL and they replied asking for an address for their shipping company.  I gave them a bogus address to see what happens.

I too received a text in response to a Craigslist posting.  They claim to be interested in purchasing my item, and shipping expenses will be covered by them.  Asking for an address for shipping company to pick up item and pay for it.  I assume this is not a legitimate buyer?
